Join the Symphony at Atlanta Symphony Hall for a full day of activities and concerts! First up, “Halloween Hijinks” for the young ones, and later in the evening, “Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton”!

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s first Family Concert of the season is “Halloween Hijinks.” Pre-concert activities, from 12-2:00pm, include:
– A Halloween costume contest — prizes will be awarded and winners will be announced in the concert!
– Pumpkin-inspired art making station,
– And an Instrument Petting Zoo.
The concert beings at 2:00pm and will feature mesmerizing favorites from Harry Potter, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Night on Bald Mountain and many more surprises in between.

Later in the evening, grown-up fans of Halloween can join us at 8:00pm for our special presentation Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton. Fans of the haunting works of composer Danny Elfman will not want to miss these scores played live by a full orchestra plus a chorus, featuring movie clips from Tim Burton Films – including the scores from Batman, Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, and of course The Nightmare Before Christmas.
